Coach JASON HOATH anticipates the 2019 season, his fourth year as Head Coach, with hope and optimism.  Hoath admits that this year's team is young and inexperienced, but is excited about the talent and enthusiasm they have displayed during practices and scrimmages.

Hoath, a former quarterback standout for Spring Hill High School, served as an assistant coach under Vance Belew for five years before taking the head coaching job at Mt. Pleasant High School for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

While playing for Spring Hill where he was an all-state quarterback in 2002, Hoath played under head coaches Bill Cox and Mike Mizer. He was an all-region choice in basketball and qualified for the TSSAA State Track meet in the discus. He was team captain in all three sports.

Hoath was a four-year starter at linebacker for Lambuth University in Jackson. A two-time all-conference player, Hoath was an honorable mention All-American in 2007 and an unanimous choice for team captain in 2007, the year after being selected the team’s MVP.

Coach Hoath works in the Special Education Department at CHS. He is married to the former Summer Davis. Together they have four children, Jase 14, Nate 12, Kate 7, and Autumn 1.
